All I can say is WOW!
9th inning, down by 2 runs, the St. Louis Cardinals looked to be 3 outs away from having to watch the world series in front of the TV. David Eckstein got a two out hit to put him on first, then he stole second on a ball pitch to Jim Edmonds. After Jim drew a walk, Albert Pujols stepped into the batters box. Now, in any movie this would be the perfect time for the hero to hit a home run, but that only happens in movies, right? On the second pitch to Albert he hammered it deep into left field, and in that instant the once joyous crowd got so quiet you could hear a pin drop. When Houston got their turn up to bat they couldn't return the favor, game over and St. Louis stays alive, final score was 5 to 4. I will say this, if they don't win the next two games and don't make it to the world series, just seeing that 9th inning unfold and watching my favorite team go from down and out to being the winner was more then enough for me. Even though I say that, I will still be watching and hoping that they make it all the way.
