Teach the children well

I am all for making sure students get the education they need to succeed in the world, but I want to see more practical things being taught as well. Things like being able to open a packet of ketchup, or opening the plastic bag that holds the spoon, napkin, and straw, or being able to open a carton of milk. If kids are taught this from an early age it will do them wonders (and cause less headaches on teachers) when they are ready to eat school lunch in the cafeteria. Please parents, for your kids, for the good of society, and most importantly for the good of my hands that have to open all these things every day, take all of this into consideration. Thank you.
