Dog days of summer

Literally. Our puppy has been inside in the kitchen for the past few days during the afternoon. Why you ask? He got neutered and is not supposed to get the surgery site wet or dirty. Today me and him basically laid around on the tile and tried to find anything interesting on the tv. I tried to hold a conversation with him, but I guess I had nothing worthwhile to say because he fell asleep.
