Another update

Wow, almost another month, did y'all miss me? Guess I should have some news, here it goes. First off, last time I wrote I told you all that Wendy was down from some foot surgery. Well, she is now back up on her own two feet and getting around just fine. As a small gift to say thank you for all the times she has put up with me when she doesn't have to, and to celebrate her getting around again on her own, I have decided to pimp her ride. The ride in question is her 2005 GT Aggressor, I sat down with my favorite bike shop guy and went over a wish list of parts, he has the stuff on order as we speak. If I am not so lazy I might post a picture of her on the bike once it has been tuned to perfection. Work is going all right, I leave tomorrow to a town 2 hours away for some training being put on by ADOT, should be informative. I have a confession to make, sometimes my bible becomes more of a paper weight than a sword. After hearing a few things this weekend both in and out of church I realized that I need to make a better effort in picking it up and reading it more often, it won't do any good if I just let it sit and collect dust. The weather is out to get my car. I waited about 2 weeks beyond the time I wanted to wash it, one day later we had a light rain sprinkle and wind. Follow that up with some more wind (dirt being blown everywhere) and another light sprinkle about a week later and I am wondering if it is even worth the time and trouble. I will give it another try this coming weekend, it is getting warmer out, might give me an excuse to get myself wet outdoors. Well, that is all for now, take care and God bless.

I am still alive

I forget at times that I have this site, and that people look it up. Sorry about that, been kinda busy with work and life and stuff in general. First of all, Summer has been slowly creeping up on us all, which can only mean one thing for me: Its baseball season!! GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, now that I got that out of my system I would like to go on record and say that I am not totally addicted to baseball, but I do enjoy watching my team play (sorry Wendy, it can't be helped, lol). Speaking of Wendy she was recently down for a few weeks due to a foot surgery. I am happy to report that today was the first day she got around without crutches or a wheelchair. I am also happy to report that my arms got a much needed break from pushing her in that wheelchair when she wanted to go out for a walk. In case I don't update for a few days I want to wish you all a Good Friday, and a Happy Easter. To think about it all, to recall the story of what happened on that cross the day Jesus willingly gave His life for us, it reminds me of how blessed I am even when I think things are not as they should be.
