Inside my mind

I think I visited a taco stand

So a co-worker and I went to hamburger shop in town today for our lunch break. It advertised hamburgers and fries out front, and looked nice enough, but had a Mexican name. Inside the walls were either bright red or green, fascinating. At the table when we ate there were not one, not two, not three, but 4 options for adding some spice to your meal! They were as follows: Tapatio (a Mexican hot sauce), a hot sauce made for fish, some salsa in a small bowl, and some green peppers brought to us in a similar sized bowl. On the TV in the background a spanish version of MTV was playing, and all I can say is that the outfits and the voices of the singers were all somewhat laughable. When I was leaving I realized that I think I visited a taco stand, but didn't even have a taco. I had to admit that it was tasty, so I have made up my mind that the next time I want a burger, I am hitting up the Mexican side of town.

Same stuff, different day

Why is it that when it is a full moon out, it does things to people? Teachers can tell you the kids act up. I can tell you that special needs people will tend to act out more. What gives? This mystery belongs up near the top of the list of unsolved mysteries of life, right behind the mystery of why one sock will disappear from the dryer.

Just for the record, my mom got a dryer installed just after Christmas time, and as of this post nothing has vanished from it, but you never know...

Back, did ya miss me?

I don't really have a good excuse for not being on here in about, umm, forever. So, let me break down a few areas of my life into nice condensed versions.

My Job: Its been kicking my butt for a little over 1 1/2 years now. Its the longest i have ever stayed somewhere, probably because it was the first job I ever accepted that was more serious than working temporary or working for school districts. I love my co-workers and its a challenge, but it is no secret that I want to jump ship and try my hand at something new, something that will help benefit my life a little more.

My love life: Not much to speak of, other than the fact that Wendy is still around after dating her for almost 4 years now (and its been almost 6 years since I first met her). I probably don't make things easy on her, but I thank her and God that she has chosen to stick around.

My hobbies/interests: I still like to pull out the bike and ride, but weather and life kinda got in the way for a few months. Now that both seem to be co-operating more I plan of getting out a few times a week. The beach cruiser I built is back apart in pieces awaiting fresh paint and reassembly, lets see how long that takes (the weather is heating up, perfect for some rattle can action in the backyard). My car seems to have a sick sense of humor. Back when I spent almost $250 to get the windows tinted, and a custom fitted dash guard in place, the battery decided to die on it. Seems like when I do something nice for it, it bites me, lol. Just 2 days ago I washed the outside and really made her shine. That evening I flipped down one of the sun visors, and I heard a snap, then it just hung in place. Now I am searching eBay for some replacements, after that its the online junkyards.

Other than all of that, not much else newsworthy. If you read this, drop a comment or pray for me. I'll admit that I haven't put forth my best effort to live my life as a good example or as something pleasing to God for about the past year, but, just like this blog, I can always give it another try.
